Just when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, Nancy Lien arrived for her summer intern orientation. Through a grant from ExxonMobil Community Summer Jobs Program I was able to hire a very capable, talented young woman from University of Texas Austin. Nancy Lien, a public relations major at the University of Texas was chosen over 80 applicants. This prestigious program has matched talented college students to non-profit agencies for more than 20 years in Dallas.
To top it off business and marketing executive Shweta Shingh , a gift from heaven, volunteered to train her. This has been a long day where three capable women have been kicking high and planning for a dynamic SOLE SISTER summer.
