SOLE SISTERS Adds a Film

A woman never has enough shoes. But how about films? SOLE SISTERS just gave birth to IN OUR SHOES.While editing the jail sequence for the SOLE SISTERS Film, I realized that there were two films. IN OUR SHOES is about the poignant stories and art women inmates have told, written and drawn in Sandra Lara’s Art Class at the Dallas County Jail.  The stories are riveting and empowering. And the women get college credit after they complete this class.  As one woman said, ” I had to go to jail to get to college.” And she did it in crocs.
