SHOE CONFESSIONS Tonight

I can’t believe that tonight’s the night for the first SHOE CONFESSION’s reading. I am getting pretty nervous. I went to rehearsal yesterday.The actresses make the stories seem more poignant . But it needs work.This is a wonderful process. I hope trust the audience will give me constructive feedback so, I can really make this play great.

When my Mom got sick with pancreatic cancer, my sister Ann and I found brand new red high heels in her closet. We told Mom she had to get better so she could get up and dance in those shoes. She smiled, tried, but never got well. But those shoes allowed her to dream and hope. Sole Sisters is dedicated to my Mom and all women who have special relationships with their shoes.
