SMU To Screen IN HER SHOES

Sponsored by the Dedman College Interdisciplinary Institute, Human Rights Program, and Women’s and the Gender Studies Program will be screening IN HER SHOES on Sunday , March 27th between 2 and 5 pm. at McCord Auditorium, 3225 University Boulevard , Dallas TX 75205

When my Mom got sick with pancreatic cancer, my sister Ann and I found brand new red high heels in her closet. We told Mom she had to get better so she could get up and dance in those shoes. She smiled, tried, but never got well. But those shoes allowed her to dream and hope. Sole Sisters is dedicated to my Mom and all women who have special relationships with their shoes.
