SOLE SISTERS Adds Another Film

“No woman has enough shoes”, said Bert Tansky, former Neiman Marcus Exec. But no filmmaker has enough films. As I am editing the jail section for the SOLE SISTERS film, I realized that it was a film unto itself. So we now have two films. IN HER SHOES captures the poignant stories of female inmates who reflect on their lives through their shoes in Sandra Lara’s art class. They look at where they’ve been, where they are and where they are going and in what shoes. The stories are poignant and revealing. The women feel empowered especially when they earn college credit when they complete the course. They are real SOLE SISTERS.
