Sole Sisters Fundraising Mode

I am wearing warm boots and sitting behind a computer. Stephanie Miranda, our new intern, is working with me. We are going through our SOLE SISTERS stories. They are so powerful and meaningful. More later. We need to raise money to film. We are working on a corporate sponsorship package. Maybe we have to put on our better shoes….and think outside these shoeboxes.

When my Mom got sick with pancreatic cancer, my sister Ann and I found brand new red high heels in her closet. We told Mom she had to get better so she could get up and dance in those shoes. She smiled, tried, but never got well. But those shoes allowed her to dream and hope. Sole Sisters is dedicated to my Mom and all women who have special relationships with their shoes.
