Sole Sisters Goes to College

We have spent the summer building a website, a Facebook page and twittering as we have an open call for Women’s stories as told through their shoes. We are now talking with Women Studies professors in colleges around the country to see how we can involve college coeds and develop an educational component to the Sole Sisters Film Project. I just found out that one of our films SISTERS of ’77 has been part of the ITVS Women’s Empowerment project. This means that the film is part of a group of films that are being screened at public libraries, community centers and PBS stations around the country. Panel discussions follow each showing I love that our films reach such diverse audiences in such interesting ways. Stay tuned….as ITVS keeps me informed of the film’s progress.
