I am talking to University of Texas at Dallas students about their shoe stories. I hope that the co-eds will see their experiences in a whole new way. What was the shoe that you wore to your college interview? What was the shoe that you brought to tell me your story. This should be a dynamic experience for both me and the students….sharing SHOE CONFESSIONS. What could be more fun?
When my Mom got sick with pancreatic cancer, my sister Ann and I found brand new red high heels in her closet. We told Mom she had to get better so she could get up and dance in those shoes. She smiled, tried, but never got well. But those shoes allowed her to dream and hope. Sole Sisters is dedicated to my Mom and all women who have special relationships with their shoes.
